CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Ottawa-Hunt Club

Summary of Responsibilities:
Client Services Representatives ensure service excellence in all aspects of our dealings with our customers. They work closely with sales and manage order receipt, order entry, order tracking, reporting, follow-up and communication both internally and externally to ensure high quality – on-time delivery. Strong communication skills are essential as is the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Print knowledge (offset printing, digital printing, direct mail, distribution etc.) and the ability to effectively communicate both internally and with customers. Strong organizational skills are essential. Bilingualism is an asset.

Experience:
o Previous Customer Service experience is essential – preferably within the printing industry
o Recent experience within the printing industry (offset,digital,direct mail, warehousing and distribution)
o Knowledge of Direct Mail printing requirements, database creation and use, Canada Post mailing regulations – an definite asset
o Knowledge of administrative tasks considered an asset – knowledge of SAP,working with numbers, invoicing, electronic order entry systems/job tracking
o High level of record keeping – organization skills required
o Must have completed high school
o Graduation from recognized secondary schol print program such as Algonquin College’s Print or Graphic Design programs is a definite asset
o Education or courses from other printing-based environments also a definite asset
o Equivalent print experience obtained through previous work experience is considered to be an asset
o Project Management certification obtained through direct work experience or courses focused on managing both short and long-term projects with multiple components

Abilities:
o Bilingualism (English/French, verbal and written) is an asset
o Exceptional (above-average) communication skills – able to work effectively with customers
o Flexible and available for overtime as required – dedication to client requirements and service excellence are priorities in this role
o Software knowledge in MSExcel, MSWord, Powerpoint – strong typing skills (60wpm)
o Strong math skills
o Superior attention to detail
o Creative and innovative
o Accurately track work in process and follow-up on order status with various internal departments
o Accurately and effectively translate client order specifications to internal docket instructions
o Multi-tasking and dedication to meet strict deadlines – able to adjust changing priorities and maintaine critical priorities
o Able to work with minimal supervision
o Organized, strong work ethic, excellent attendance, prompt and punctual
o Good judgement (e.g. knowing when to involve others in the process)

Knowledge:
o Print knowledge essential
– offset and digital printing, direct mail, variable printing, warehousing and distribution
o Knowledge of binding types and alternatives
o Knowledge of substrates and specific requirements of offset and digital printing standards
o Applicants with related education and/or relevant experience will be considered
