Lowe-Martin is a commercial print company currently looking for a Press Feeder with at least 2 years of sheet fed/litho, 40 inch Komori experience. The press feeder’s primary responsibility is to provide on-going support to the Press operator before, during and following each job run. The Feeder must review the daily job run schedule as well as any modifications during the day to ensure that the press, stock and other materials are ready in advance. The Feeder must load all required stock to the feeding area, fill the ink fountains and prepare other materials such as coatings. During the press run the Feeder is responsible for ensuring that the paper is feeding properly and must assist with the monitoring of the press at the delivery area when required. At completion of the job, the feeder must conduct all quality checks and move the printed material to the next process. All tasks must be handled in strict accordance with the Lowe Martin Standard Operating Procedures governing both Quality of Product and Health & Safety protocols.
This is a rotating shift position where 1 week you will work the day shift and then work the afternoon the alternate week.
